About the artwork
In "Autumn Rhapsody", Ronnie Ford depicts a vivid autumn landscape filled with dusty reds, somber oranges and yellows and placid browns. The striking blues of the tree trunks contrast against this autumn palette, experimenting with typical depictions of nature. The painting presents nature as playful, an entity of its own, engaged in creating its own "rhapsody".
