Christie’s Hong Kong is currently holding a selling exhibition dedicated to Chinese artists in Southeast Asia with 60 works by 26 artists. It is bringing together ethnic Chinese artists living and working in Southeast Asia from the 20th century onwards. Chinese Artists in Southeast Asia visually captures the story of migration, exploration and assimilation. Leaving an indelible mark on the history of art in the region, the overseas Chinese artists established an artistic legacy that continues to inspire the current generations in terms of art production.
Ode to Art is glad that the works of three artists we represent in our gallery - Hong Zhu An, Ong Kim Seng and Lim Tze Peng - were selected to be featured at the Christie’s Private Selling exhibition "Chinese Artists in Southeast Asia" in Hong Kong.
In addition, other renowned artists that will be featured from across the Southeast Asian region include Damrong Wong-Uparaj, Georgette Chen, Chen Wen Hsi, Cheong Soo Pieng, Le Pho, Lee Man Fong, and more.
Address: The James Christie Room 22/F, Alexandra House 18, Chater Road, Central Hong Kong.
